Playing with Vox
(Am I the only one who thinks of the Nicholson Baker book when I see the word 'Vox'?)
Anyway, this looks like it will be minutes of fun to play around with; I'm saving it as a treat for myself. That said, I did try to upload a video (a drive through Hyde Park on a beautiful day, taken last week). The upload crapped out and the video isn't there. Maybe there are file size limits? I'll know when I have time to look deeper into Vox.

No.
I've not had any problems uplaoding video yet, but I've only tried it with footage straight off my mobile phone.
